Valentines Day Lookbook
Posted on January 31 2017
I feel like it has been so long since I have blogged but here we go again! Lets get real here, Valentines Day is fast approaching and there are two kinds of people out there. There are those who love it and they're ready for chocolates and date night or there are the people who hate this holiday, don't celebrate and don't care about roses and hearts. I personally love Valentines Day and I love all of the tacky pink stuff for sale in the Target dollar section, gets me every time.
Since I love supporting small business and other women, I have picked some of my favorite looks and items from other stores that can be worn and styled for a great date night!
1. Favorite Suede - 32.00 Palette of Threads
I adore this skirt from Palette of Threads mobile boutique in Englewood Ohio. The texture is feminine, sweet and simply easy to style while being offered in two neutral colors. If you're facing colder weather try rocking this piece with a body suit and a long cardigan to add some layers or even pair it with a chunky sweater and booties!
2. Graphic Tees - 26.00 Oliver and Otis
I am a sucker for a good graphic tee and Allie from oliverandotis.com always has the cutest looks! If skirts and dresses aren't your style, try pairing one of these tees with cute moto leggings and fun shoes. You can always go for a sporty look with jeans, converse and a cute jacket. Grab sunglasses, rock a ponytail and run your errands (aka go to Target and buy items you don't need and grab a Starbucks while you're at it) looking fun and festive.
3. Lace and Blush - 42.00/68.00 Avabelle Boutique
Okay where do I begin with these two tops? I'm in love with both! My personal go to style is nice blouse, skinny jeans and fun heels, so these tops are really speaking to me. I enjoy nice detail subtle colors that give off a simple look but can always be dressed up with funky accessories and a big statements piece. This Blush Bell Sleeve Top is very sophisticated and would pair great with a chic blazer or even a leather jacket to create and edgy look.
If you're more of a #BohoQueen and want to rock something a little less glam, try the Laced Up in Love blouse. I ADORE this color and the lace detail is sweet. Build this look using chunky silver jewelry along the neckline or simple earrings. Stay away from wearing too much on the wrists as it can take away from the bell sleeves. Don't forget to wear cute shoes! The top is a statement but don't let your outfit fall flat, think taupe/grey boots or nude sandals with cuffed skinnies!
I hope you ladies love the looks I have picked out for you to wear out this Valentines day. Please click the links below to shop and also don't forget to tag me on Instagram so I can see how you recreate these fun looks!
